Excellent coffee, baked goods and breakfast menu! I’ve never had a problem getting a table because no wifi means fewer people with . Very friendly service as well.

Small coffee shop with a good mix of beverages and food products. Service is quick despite being busy for a holiday. Seating is limited, but there is a small green space nearby with benches. The pb&j cookie was interesting and their other baked goods looked very good. Inside is clean and bright.

Really excellent coffee here — they care a lot about the quality of the beans they serve and how they’re prepared. Lots of interesting roasters’ beans on hand to buy as well. The staff are also very friendly and bus tables quickly, as well as deliver dine-in drinks to your table directly. The food is solid, in particular their toasts and breakfast sandwich; I really love how softly they cook the eggs and the sauce they use is really nice too. Overall, a lot of care is evident here and makes it a nice visit. The downside is how popular they are. Deservedly so! But it’s SO crowded and such a small space that things can get a bit uncomfortable, with crowds blocking the door as they wait for their take-out cups, and confusion over where the line starts to order. Somehow, however, turnover of tables is fairly quick; I’ve sometimes had to wait for a seat but never longer than 10 mins or so. Maybe with all this success, some day they can move into a nearby larger space?

I absolutely love going to Bower Coffee! I usually buy myself something right after going to the farmer's market. The staff are truly special. They are warm, welcoming and always in a good mood! The second time I went, they had remembered my name from the first time, and also remembered my order. Wow!! Oh yes, and the coffee is so good! I'm so glad they opened up in Westboro. :)

One of our favorite coffee shops in town serving some really good coffees on drip, pour over, and espresso. I got a Panamanian washed coffee on drip today and it was balanced and flavourful. My wife got a decaf oat latte and it also was very good. They sell coffee from very respectable Canadian roasters including September - locally roasted in Kanata (and also highly recommended). The atmosphere can be a bit crowded and noisy during peak busy times which isn’t my favorite so 4/5 stars but could be 5/5 when less busy. Either way, definitely recommend!

Delicious. My new favourite cafe in westboro. I had the matcha and the breakfast sandwich. Wonderful service. They’re super friendly and helpful. I love that they carry coffee that you won’t find anywhere else in Ottawa

I work in the area and this is my GO TO spot for the best coffee around. I love consistency. Consistency in taste is key for me and this place nails it everytime. The staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions and their coffee knowledge is next level. They are never too busy to explain the flavour of a bean or the benefits of a pour over. I’ve had several items on their menu and I highly recommend their grilled cheese. The first time I got it with pickles and mustard in it I was like, ”what?” Then I realized. It’s a must. Super good and just the ingredient to take the classic grilled cheese to the next level. Many thanks for making my work days even better.

This specialty coffee shop is awesome! Their curated list of beans from across the country is exceptional. My pour-over and cortado were flawlessly executed, showcasing serious skill. And the curry chicken sandwich? Absolutely stellar. Every detail here screams passion and mastery of their craft. Highly recommend!
